In Our Season of Wait

Wow, It has been a while since I have written from my soul!!! I have been so busy with transitioning from the old to the new, meaning myself. God has truly been dealing with me this season like never before. I have begun to fast and pray like never before!!! It is in the fasting where I can truly hear from God without all the distractions surrounding me. Wow, fasting and praying is very powerful! That is another post. Well, I know many of us are in our season of wait. You may ask yourself, what do I do while I wait? Let's first define wait. I like this definition of wait, to rest in expectation. We rest in God and His word. To rest means to be free of anxieties. The Lord says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.(Philippians 4:6) In simplicity we are not to worry about anything but pray about everything. When you pray, leave it before God and allow Him to work it out on your behalf. To many times we get in the way of God and it prolongs the breakthrough! God is not on our timing we are on His timing! It is time for us to totally surrender everything unto Him, whether it may be our marrige, children, family, job, business,ministry, or finances. While we are waiting on God, we need to keep seeking His face and staying in His word. By staying in Him, it keeps our focus on Him and not on our circumstances. I do not know what you are waiting on God for, but He says while we wait, Be still, and know that I am God(Psalm 46:10) That is where our trust comes in because while things may not be happening where the eyes can see, just know God is working behind the scenes. No matter how long it may take for that breakthrough to come to past, trust God! The Lord is increasing your faith while you wait. I know it is not easy to wait but we must persevere! Look at Abraham and Sarah in the bible. They wanted a child but as Sarah became an older woman she didnt think that God could open up her womb. Well, He did and she bore a son named Issac! If God did it for Sarah, He can and will do it for you. I dont know if you are waiting on God to bless you with child but just know God hears your prayers! Keep praying and dont give up on the promises of God for your life. Contend for your marriage, your children, your health, your mind, your business, your finances, your ministry, and the souls that are lost! The enemy will try to wear you down with worry but that is why you rest in God's word! If you know God's word then you are able to speak them when the enemy comes at you with lies and distractions! See when Jesus was tempted in the desert He could not loose because He always came back at satan with the word of God! If Jesus can do it so can we!!! Fill yourself with His word this season and when the enemy comes at you let the word of God flow out of your mouth. We cannot not do this in our own strength. God is our strength, where we are weak He is so much stronger. When we are resting in God and in His word then the enemy cannot phase us because we know that God's word is truth and will not return unto Him void(Isaiah 55:11). The Lord says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.(Matthew 11:28) Do not worry about the problem, because God is the problem solver. So my dear sisters and brothers, it is time for you to rest while you wait! I believe in you and so does our Father,which art in Heaven!!!

Our First House, God Did It!!!!!!!!!

Remember back in January I did a vision board and I had our dream home on there. Well guys as you can see above the Lord blessed us with this beautiful home. We signed the deal and received the keys to the house on April 22, 2011. It was setup by God because the day we received the keys and moved in was on Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified! He came to give us life and give it abundantly! It was a long process but God was truly in the midst of it all. He gave us favor!!!!!!!! We are in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by God fearing neighbors. I am pleased with the school my children are attending! It was always my dream for my children to have a backyard and they finally get to run and play without me being worried that a car is going to hit them. The home is so beautiful on the inside as well. We have a two story, 3 bedroom, game room, 2 and half bath home with 2 car garage. I give God all the glory because no one can get credit for this accept Him! I dedicated this house to God and my prayer was that God would use this house for His purpose. Before we even moved our furniture into our home, I prayed in every room of the house and anointed all the windows/doors with oil! When guests come into our new home they say it is so peaceful in our home. That is exactly what I wanted when people enter our home to feel the presence of the Lord and to be at peace when they enter. I have visions that bible studies will be held in our living room. I cannot wait and I am so excited that God chose us to do His work. We are just His vessels and ready to further His kingdom. For those of you who are believing God for your new house as well keep kneeling on His promises for your house! Don't get discouraged because we have been waiting on this blessing for five years!!! I pray that your faith will not fail and that God will increase your faith in Him this season!
